Before you make a reservation you should read these
Terms and Conditions carefully.
These conditions apply to all bookings made directly
with the company Pohjolan Huskies.
The person making the booking accepts these terms and conditions
on behalf of each member of the party.

Confirmation of Reservation

Your booking is not confirmed until the booking fee has been paid,
and you have confirmed that you have read and shared the terms and conditions with your travel companions. Additionally, please provide us with a phone number that will be active during your stay in Lapland,
if wee need to reach you quickly.
By doing so, you confirm also us that you have reviewed the terms.

Participant Responsibility

Participation in the husky safari is at your own risk.
By joining, you accept that the activity may involve certain risks and hazards,
including the possibility of injury or equipment damage.

Insurance Requirement

All participants must ensure they have valid personal insurance covering accidents and health-related issues.
Pohjolan Huskies is not responsible for any injuries, health problems, or accidents that may occur during the activity.
We recommend you to have a cancellation insurance, liability insurance, comprehensive travel insurance,
as well as an insurance for personal belongings and health.

Health and Physical Requirements

Husky safaris require good basic fitness and balance. All participants must:

– Be able to control their body and follow instructions
– Understand the nature of the activity and behave safely around animals
– Treat the dogs with respect at all times
– There is a weight limit of 110 kg per person. If this limit is exceeded,
it must be informed in advance so we can arrange a suitable dog team.

If any participant has health conditions, injuries, mobility issues, or neuropsychiatric challenges that may impact safety or communication, this must be reported at least 24 hours before the activity.
If this information is not provided in time, we cannot guarantee participation,
and no refund will be issued if cancellation occurs on-site for safety reasons.

Weather Impact

Our safaris are subject to weather and trail conditions.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a safari in the event of poor weather or unsafe conditions.
In such cases, we will offer a new time or a replacement activity will be offered instead.
In extremely cold conditions (below -30°C),
especially when children are involved, we may change the activity to a husky walk or kennel visit.
You will only be charged for the activity that takes place.
If the alternative is declined by the guest,
Pohjolan Huskies reserves the right to retain 50% of the original booking fee.

Aurora safari

Aurora sightings are natural phenomena and cannot be guaranteed.

While we do our best to choose optimal conditions and timing,
Pohjolan Huskies cannot be held responsible if the Northern Lights do not appear during the activity.
No refunds or compensation will be provided due to the absence of aurora sightings.

Equipment

Participants are responsible for dressing appropriately.

Animal Welfare

The well-being of our dogs is our top priority.

Treat them with care and respect to ensure a safe and joyful experience for both guests and animals.

Reservation

calling or WhatsApp (+358 405783093) .

A reservation is confirmed upon receiving a booking confirmation through e-mail or text message.
Please, inform us of any food allergies and other restrictions.

Payment

For each booking, we charge a non-refundable booking fee that must be paid in advance to confirm your reservation. This fee can be paid via online link where you can choose to pay by invoice or via PayPal.
The booking fee is 50% of the total activity cost and must be paid via the online payment link provided.

Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable if the guest cancels for any reason.
Reimbursement of the booking fee will only be made if the Pohjolan Huskies cancels the booking.

To secure your booking, please ensure the booking fee is paid by the due date specified on the invoice.
Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation and loss of your booking confirmation.

We recommend maintaining close communication throughout the booking process
until you receive a confirmed booking confirmation.

Cancellation Terms

To cancel your participation in any of our programs, please contact us at info@pohjolantulet.fi.
50% refund for cancellations made later than 30 days and up to 24 hours before the beginning of the reservation.

No refund for cancellations made 24 hours or less before the beginning of the reservation.
Additionally, no refund for not showing up.


Cancellations and changes mabe by Pohjolan Huskies

If Pohjolan Huskies needs to change the price or make a significant change to the tour that you booked with us,
we will inform you as soon as possible. In that case you will have the full right to cancel the tour,
get back your booking fee or make a new booking.

Pohjolan Huskies reserves the right to change the tour plan before or during the tour for safety reasons.
This may be necessary due to weather, temperature, snow conditions,
or to adjust the tour to the customer's skill level. In these cases, there will be no refund, and the amount according to the booking must still be paid. However Pohjolan Huskies offers a substitute activity instead.
For example in extremely cold conditions (below -30°C), especially when children are involved,
we may change the activity to a husky walk or kennel visit.
You will only be charged for the activity that takes place. If the alternative is declined by the guest,
Pohjolan Huskies reserves the right to retain 50% of the original booking fee.
